Workplace Relation Employee Experience Design 

DELWP engaged Exco Partners to investigate a Case Management system to simplify and streamline the employee experience of workplace relations matters. The approach used a human-centred design method to review existing processes, conduct research and interviews of stakeholders and co-designed the future state as a set of Service Blueprints.

The Department of Environment, Land, Waters and Planning (DELWP), plays a significant role in safeguarding the state of Victoria from the ravages of bushfires and climate change. With over 4,000 staff, the management of workplace relations-related matters is complex and time-consuming.

DELWP engaged Exco Partners to investigate a Case Management system to simplify and streamline the employee experience of workplace relations matters. The approach used a human-centred design method to review existing processes, conduct research and interviews of
stakeholders and co-designed the future state as a set of Service Blueprints.

Outcome

What changed. 

The Service Blueprints informed a solution evaluation process and sequenced roadmap for delivering the capability for DELWP.

The market evaluation compared various technology providers against a set of key criteria that included implementation effort, alignment to requirements and total-cost of ownership.
